My work at the Lynton Railway

Starting in June 2018, almost every Friday I have been volunteering at the Lynton Railway, a private 12 inch gauge Railway in the upper reaches of the Yarra Valley as part of my school's Learning Through Internship program. Learning skills I wouldn't be able to learn at school. Including restoration of old machinery, steam locomotive maintenance, trackwork, various engineering skills including lathes, drill presses, grinding, silver soldering, engine reconditioning, painting, sanding etc as well as hearing stories from a bunch of fantastic people, a few of which I have become great friends with and have done stuff with them outside the railway as well., Below is a group of  photos of some of the stuff i've been involved with over the Four and a half years I've been involved at the Lynton Railway
